Students and their families at Salesian School (pictured, top), in Chertsey, were celebrating following the publication of this year’s A level and vocational results.
41% of all grades were A* or A with an amazing 50 students achieving straight A*-A results, some of which are listed below. 72% of all grades were A*-B with 90% being A*-C.
Almost all students from the College at Salesian secured their first-choice university place with 55% of applicants gaining places at Russell Group universities including Cambridge, Oxford, Warwick, LSE, UCL and Durham.
Deputy Headteacher and Head of College, Lizzie Bolton said: "I am absolutely delighted by this year's A Level, BTEC and T Level results at Salesian. Our students have worked incredibly hard and their achievements are richly deserved. These results reflect not only reflect their commitment and resilience, but also the dedication of our staff and the support of families throughout their journey. As this is my final set of results at Salesian, I feel especially proud of all that our students have accomplished. It has been a privilege to be part of their journey, and I wish them every happiness and fulfilment as they take their next steps".

These exceptional results have secured places for Mayfield’s Upper Sixth students at some of the world's most prestigious universities, including Oxford, Cambridge and the University of Pennsylvania.
From Medicine, Psychology and Zoology to Fine Art, Film, Mathematics and the Sciences, Mayfield girls are now preparing to begin an exciting and diverse range of degree courses that reflect their talents, ambitions and aspirations.

The Effingham Schools Trust Sixth Form (pictured above, second row) is celebrating its best-ever value-added performance following this year’s A-Level results, with students achieving exceptional outcomes across a wide range of subjects and future pathways.
The results place Effingham in the top 10% nationally for adding value from GCSE results to A-Level results, reflecting the commitment, determination and hard work of students, alongside the dedication of staff.
Alongside a place at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, to read Psychological and Behavioural Sciences, students are progressing to the Universities of Liverpool and Buckingham to study Medicine, while others are heading to Bath and Nottingham to pursue Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and Kings and UCL to study Politics and International Affairs as well as Business. Criminology, Sociology, Psychology and Biomedical Sciences continue to be popular choices, with students progressing to a wide range of universities, including Exeter, Southampton and Surrey.
Creative and performing arts students have also enjoyed outstanding success, with students securing places at the Universities of Leeds and Leicester to study Theatre and Dance, alonglside exceptional achievements in Art, Photography and Textiles, with another to attend the prestigious Central St Martin's.
Places have also been secured at McGill University, Canada, to study Computer Science and at the University of Sydney to study Humanities.
