Students, staff members and governors at St Vincent's Catholic Primary School, Acton, welcomed the Rt Rev James Curry on 27 September, both the school's 60th anniversary and the feast day of St Vincent de Paul.

Bishop Jim, Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster, spoke to the children about becoming saints like St Vincent de Paul, referencing the newly canonised St Carlo Acutis with whom the pupils are very familiar and have enjoyed learning about.

Mass centred around being of service to others, with the words from Matthew's Gospel: 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it for me.'
