Catholic schools across England and Wales are being invited to take part in World Youth Sunday - with an interactive livestream to find out more taking place on the preceding Friday, 21 November.

Join CYMFed, the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation, online for a programme specifically designed for schools, and supported by CAFOD, Caritas Social Action Network (CSAN) and the CES. There will be a session in the morning for primary schools, and one in the afternoon for secondary schools.

In the Jubilee Year World Youth Sunday, a global moment to recognise and uplift the voices of young people in the Church, will honour young people as vital members of the Church’s mission and future. This livestream aims to:

  • Introduce young people to the wider Church community.
  • Help them see and embrace their unique role within it.
  • Leave participants feeling inspired, empowered and full of hope.

What to expect:

  • A professional, engaging and interactive programme, with resources to support engagement.
  • An opening Jubilee for Schools Celebration day film.
  • Opportunities for deep faith encounters, discussion and connection.
  • A meaningful introduction to the scope and spirit of youth ministry across England and Wales.
  • A celebration which reflects the universal Church, shared across nations and cultures.
